    This curve is misleading, 1st Gen Mini has horrible audio out to headphones.

    This test covers quite a few players, a far more useful test for a portable player as it tests the players ability to drive a load (typically headphones).

    The 1G ipod mini performance is abysmal. If you are using a 1G mini upgrade now if you want to enjoy more correct sound :)
